Click on Database and synchronization to get to this window. Leave everything as it is. Click on SQL Server to get this window. If you got an error message in the first window it is important that the settings here are corrected. Explained in text below.

Once you have checked the settings and all is OK, you click on the OK button at the bottom of the screen. Clicking on OK at the top rigth corner will cause some errors (a known problem fixed in the next release). You should then click on the Synchronize button or Menu -> Synchronize.

The progressbar below will be displayed during synchronization.

Troubleshooting ActiveSync connectivity: If there is a problem with the connectivity it is most likely due to connection settings in ActiveSync. In active sync on the desktop you need to change what was earlier called Pass through, in 4.0 and newer you now find it under File -> Connection Settings

You should see a window similar to this Norwegian version:

The important part is that you need to change from Automatic to one of the other two options.

To test the connection open SQL Server tab in the settings of EpiHandy MobileClient.

Click on Test URL on IIS

If you get a message similar to this, the settings are not correct. This message indicates a valid connection You may now also update the SQL Server info part by clicking on Get SQL Server Info

If it failed you will need to manually edit the field SQL Server. So that you correctly point to the instance i.e. if your computer is called MYLAPTOP you need to write MYLAPTOP\EPIHANDY where it now says \#\#\#\#\EPIHANDY

Once you have completed all these steps you may click OK at the bottom and try to synchronize as shown above.
