bNb.Sec: NTE_PROVIDER_DLL_FAIL

There is something wrong with the integrated encryption functions (that is not in EpiHandy, but in .NET). This can happen and is an unsolved problem by MS... (:=
In the errorlog it is listed as: bNb.Sec: NTE_PROVIDER_DLL_FAIL
Steps you may try are:
1. Reset device
2. Hardreset device

NOTE, if doing a hardreset I recomend you make a copy of the database which has the data onto i.e. a memory card. Then do a hardreset and a reinstallation, and then copy the database file back onto the device. Then try to synch once again.

NullReferenceException

NullReference Exception
Control se:: set_visible+0x0
Application: Run+0x7
zMain::Main+0x153

Possible solutions / reasons:
1. There is not enough memory to start the program (check start -> settings -> system -> memory)
2. The installation has been corrupted. You may try reinstalling the components (by selecting all of them in the installer window).

Lastly, whenever you get such problems please check the errorlogs of the PDA's.

28549 - The row update or insert cannot be reapplied due to an integrity violation.

This error relates to datasynchronization, and can occur if a form has been sent back to the mobile device, but the synch was incomplete.

Solution:

In StudyManager go to Manage Data, and click on the button Withdraw from all

Then do a new synchronization

If this still fails, try the solution under Datasynchronisation fails.

Datasynchronization fails.

In some cases the synchronization simply does not work as expected.

There is therefore a force upload of data function.

  1. In EpiHandy MobileClient go to Settings -> Data -> Synchronisation
  2. Select the Force upload of data on next Synch.
  3. Then try to synch again.
  4. After this has been done it is strongly recomended to do a hardreset of the device and format the memory card, and then do a clean installation again.
